Rohini was traveling through Europe when our paths crossed. I was living in Paris and offering couch surfing. At that time I received many requests from tourists, but I rejected most of them. By their profile I could tell that it wouldn’t match. And then Rohini came along. Her message was so kind and appealing, I knew I had to met this girl. I drove one time through Paris from the south of the fifth district to Montmartre where we met at “place des abbesses”. We had a nice stroll with her friend Ramya through the hidden places of this artists neighborhood and then went to a local pizzeria. We talked all evening and night long. It was friendship at first sight. 
We promised to see each other again. 


Over the years we wrote each other a few letters, the good old fashion way. 
When one of my best friends went to live in Bangalore for two years I connected the two, because to me Rohini was a people’s person.      Sadly we were never able to keep our promise to meet again. I feel extremely sad that such a nice and joyful person has left us. I’m sending all my love and moral support to you, her friends and family.
