SUMANTRA 5th August 2021

Its hard to come to terms with this tragic loss. I spent every summer of my childhood with Ro and my grandparents in Bangalore and since we were only 2.5 years apart she was automatically my best friend. Rohini's fearlessness started at a young age and it often led to us getting in all kinds of trouble; we laughed, cried, fought and made up constantly and this cycle continued into our adult relationship. My last few visits, I tried to focus spending time with my grandmother, assuming that it was time with her that was the most limited, Rohini often chided me for wanting to stay home - never in my wildest dreams did I think it was time with Ro that would run out so soon. Her spontaneity and love for life made even the most mundane tasks memorable and the only thing that's made us smile over the last week is reminiscing about all the good times we had together. We will miss your forever and I send all my love and support to my dearest family in Bangalore.
