Vickram 5th August 2021

I've known Rohini since I was 8 years old. She was the first friend I made after moving to India. She taught me how to ride a bicycle and I try really hard to recall those adventurous memories of cycling around the block and the general area. Being an only child, she was the big sister I never had. We slowly drifted away as I got into high school and then university, but we still found the time once in a while to catch up. It was the last few years that we'd been spending more time catching up and having longer conversations about our work, the future and so on. After she moved out, I tried my best to keep in touch and still wish I had put in more effort. She did her part, texting me once in a while with a "Hey, its been a while, what are you up to and how is your band and music going?". She wasn't my neighbor, she was family and always will be. A wonderful soul, genuine, pure of heart and intent. See you on the other side Ro. I'll meet you there and will make it up to you. We'll go cycling again, just like old times!
